The Civil Service Examination 2013 results were declared by Union Public Service Commission on Thursday, concluding the precise assortment process encompassing the prelims conducted on 26 May, 2013. Written exam was conducted in December and the personality test in April-June 2014.

Total of 1,122 candidates have cleared the esteemed Civil Services Examination 2013. While 14,959 of the total 3, 23,949 candidates who appeared for UPSC exam cleared prelims, 3,003 passed the mains. And finally 1,122 cleared the last obstacle, the personality test.  Out of all these students, 180 best students will be selected finally for the post of IAS, IFS, IPS, Group A central services and Group B central services. Selection of candidates was done solely on their performance basis.

This year history is created by Jaipur boy, Gaurav Agrawal who came first in UPSC exam. This is the first time when a person from Rajasthan stood first in IAS exam.  Munish Sharma and Rachit Raj became second and third highest scorers respectively.

Supplementary aspirants below the merit list may get a chance as there will be some toppers who already have good job from previous civil service exam. UPSC hasn’t disclosed the exact role numbers of the candidates in the buffer list yet. There has been no official announcement about marks obtained by the selected candidates.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE ) which has conducted All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT) on 4th May, 2014 for various medical seats in India has finally declared the result on 7th June, 2014. Lakhs of candidates applied for the entrance exam out of which 46,271 candidates have qualified the exam. The exam was conducted in 50 cities at 929 centers. Candidates can check their result on the official website of AIPMT.

The exam conducted by CBSE consists of 180 multiple choice questions which were objective. The syllabus involved questions from PCB stream from class 11th and class 12th. Time duration for exam was 3hrs.

• Then candidates have to enter their roll number and Date of birth in the format dd/mm/yyyy.

Candidates are advised to download their result sheet as well as rank card for further reference. The CBSE has arranged the merit list/ remain list as per the directions of the Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI and DCI. Candidates who get qualified in the entrance exam are advised to keep themselves updated with CBSE website, Universities, Medical Counseling Committee till final round of counseling.

The scores which candidates will get will help them to get enrolled in 15 per cent seats in Government colleges for Medical and Dental courses. Some private colleges also accept AIPMT score.

State Bank of India has released the admit card for Probationary officer-2014 on their official website-sbi.co.in. Large numbers of applicants apply for the post of SBI-PO. SBI-PO is very renowned job with huge pay scale.

Total vacancies for SBI-PO are around 1837 out of which for General category there around 758 posts, 245 posts and 439 posts for SC and ST candidates respectively and remaining 405 posts for the OBC. SBI-PO exam will be scheduled from14th June, 2014 to 29th June, 2014.

Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra which has conducted the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET)-2014 on 8th May, 2014 has declared the result. MHCET is an entrance exam for Undergraduate students conducted for entrance in medical course in all Government/Municipal Corporation along with private institutions for the academic year 2014-15. After clearing the state level MHCET exam students can get enrolled in medical or BDS and other medical courses of their choice depending solely on their score.

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU) Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE has declared the result on 9th June, 2014. Lakhs of students applied for the entrance exam where around 2.80 Lakh students applied for engineering course. This year’s more students applied for the exam in comparison to previous year.

Plus aggregate marks of 45% in Senior Secondary for General Category and 40% marks for reserved category to get in merit list. Merit ranking for EAMCET-2014 will be calculated on the basis of combined score having 75% weight-age to EAMCET score and remaining to senior secondary marks with relevant stream for all categories.  

Online web counseling will be done for students who get qualified in the entrance exam. Students will be provided with one Time Password (OTP) which will be displayed on student’s mobile number every-time they log in, in order to provide security to students.

Union Public Service Commission has issued notification regarding preliminary exam.  Every year exam is conducted by UPSC for various posts including IAS, IPS and many more. According to amendments, chances to appear for UPSC exam have been increased from 3 to 4 chances. Now, candidates have more chances to achieve their goal.
